What you can do
Works on every platform
Any modern browser on phones, tablets, and computers can send and receive.
Devices on the same network appear automatically
Open the page on both devices and they discover each other.
Pair across networks
Pair two devices once with a code to send files even when they are on different networks.
Send text too
Share a message or link as quickly as a file.
Getting started
- 01
Open drop.math7.com on both devices.
- 02
On the sender, click or tap the other device's icon.
- 03
Choose files or text and confirm on the receiving device.
Access
PairDrop is public and needs no account.
Privacy and data
Files go directly between browsers over an encrypted WebRTC connection whenever the network allows. The server helps the devices find each other and does not store your files.
Common questions
Is there a file size limit?
PairDrop streams files between devices, so the practical limit is your devices and connection.
Why can't I see my other device?
Make sure both devices have the page open. If they are on different networks, pair them with a code first.
